Last night was Fête de la Musique, a night of music in the streets, on the eve of the summer solstice.  Although other cities celebrate it, it was born in Paris, and I think there’s something extra-special about witnessing it here.  For one thing, it’s a BIG DEAL: the public transport authorities alter the transportation…
