More Midcentury

….Continued from yesterday’s post on my visit to Carver, Minnesota, here are a few of my favorite sites:

Can you believe this? A perfectly preserved mid-century gas station. Minnesota Valley Oil Company Gas Station (1925).

They don’t make ’em like this anymore.

I find such beauty in these thoughtfully crafted gas pumps.

It would have been impossible to spend more than $9.99 – imagine that!

gorgeous! pure vintage. (makes modern gas stations looks shabby and depressing.)

classic.

.

a lovely old (still “working”) church.

such a sweet setting…

beautiful stained glass.

Carver was such a wonderful surprise…I hope to find many more here in Minnesota!

Happy Friday!

À bientôt,

k.
