Day 132: Gaga for Naga
{Speicherstadt, docklands, Hamburg}
On the final day of my friend’s visit, we headed to the Speicherstadt, or the old customshouse area of Hamburg. This whole area (an island of about 2.2km or 1.3 miles) is now called HafenCity (Hafen is German for harbor). HafenCity is currently the largest urban planning project in Europe, converting the old shipyard into housing, offices, restaurants, shopping, etc.
I went with a bit of a safari look today. The necklace is a Naga (India/Burma) piece that I bought several years ago from an ethnic/tribal jewelry dealer in New Zealand (over the phone, not in person, sadly).
By Malene Birger linen dress.
